June Talvitie-Siple
Her research interests are in the field of distance education, science education, and the application of technology in education.
June Talvitie-Siple is a doctoral student within the field of curriculum and instruction in the School of Education at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. In the past she has served as a teacher, a course developer for public and private schools and the technology industry, and as an information technology specialist. In addition to her studies, she is an elementary science methods instructor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a graduate faculty member within Walden UniversityÕs Masters of Science in Education and Instructional Technology programs. Her research interests are in the field of distance education, science education, and the application of technology in education.
