The Admissions Process:

The Adult Education/Human Resource Development Program requires satisfactory GRE scores, satisfactory undergraduate course work and GPAs, clear and well-written personal statements, a complete resume, at least two strong letters of reference, and successful interviews. In recognition of the fact that our students are coming from very different educational and professional backgrounds, application materials are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. However, work experience after the undergraduate degree is looked upon favorably by the faculty admissions committee and is highly encouraged.

Students seeking admission immediately following the completion of an undergraduate degree must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 and satisfactory GRE scores. A university application through CGOP must also be submitted as well as official transcripts sent to CGOP.

You may submit the application online at: http://www.jmu.edu/cgop/prospective/index.shtml or visit http://www.jmu.edu/cgop for more information.
